This series consists of relief credit ledgers, which are alphabetical ledgers of the collections made on debts after the passage of the relief offering act in 1840. Included are the account name, the county, the date of the discount, the note number, the name of the endorser, the name of the payer, information on whether the note was protested or paid, the date of protest or payment, the amount owed by the first, second, third, and fourth payer, and the date of maturity.
